For me this was an easy, cheap very functional install. I recently bought a Bass Pro Shops XPS I-series 5/5/5 3-bank charger and semi-installed it in my boat. Tracker Heritage Boat, BPS, XPS charger installation, 2 bank Marine Battery Wiring and install + Onboard Battery charger & fuze/breaker. With the Yandina battery combiner, both batteries are charged from the engine when running and both batteries are charged from the on-board charger when it's plugged in, yet they are otherwise separated. On my current fish/hunt boat I installed a Yandina battery combiner (I chose it over the Blue Seas ACR) and a cheap single bank charger/maintainer. Didn't make it 2 years, so I might be painting with a broad brush but that left me skeptical of the multi bank chargers. I installed this charger on my last fishing boat. Both of them have a number of reviews involving the chargers failing and cooking the batteries, or them detecting some 'flaw' in a perfectly good battery and shutting down.

As far as the year goes, is there a USCG tag inside the boat.

Anyone have any problems with these chargers? I've been thinking seriously about getting one, and have been looking at the Prosport and NOCO chargers. Ill try to find a wiring diagram for ya, I believe nlareau posted one a few days ago.
